Project Administrator - FIXED TERM

The opportunity:

We’re on the lookout for a capable and motivated Project Administrator to join us on a fixed-term basis while a valued team member is on maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity to support one of our major service lines, working closely alongside our Geotechnical Engineering team who are based in Tauranga, Hamilton, and New Plymouth. You’ll be right in the middle of the action, coordinating projects, supporting the team, and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative environment. In addition you will work as part of the wider administrative team helping with other disciplines and offices to ensure we keep our administrative function running smoothly.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in project administration, ideally from the engineering industry

  • A keen eye for detail, with a strong commitment to maintaining processes and systems

  • Strong communication skills – clear, professional, and confident when working with both internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Reliability and follow-through – someone who does what they say they will (one of BCD Group’s core values)

  • A great attitude – someone who brings energy, positivity, and contributes to a great team environment
