BCD Group was engaged to provide engineering design services for a community village development in Ōmokoroa. Stage 1 of this development encompassed four mixed-use commercial buildings. Our team conducted comprehensive stakeholder consultations for Buildings A, B, C, and D, meticulously identifying cost and project efficiencies through both prescriptive and specific engineering design, utilizing Acceptable Solution C/AS2 and the Verification method C/VM2. Following these preliminary investigations, we executed prescriptive design for Buildings B and D, and specific engineering design for Buildings A and C, thereby assisting our client in securing efficient fire engineering solutions for building consent.
